leift - レフト
leift (is pronounced "left") A unique harmony of relaxing vocals, lyrics that depict a fragile and weak heart, clean and sophisticated top line, and tracks played on a piano and a vintage synth and rhythm machine, combining elegance and rowdiness. The name leift is a combination of his permanent dominant hand "left", the word "left" which means to leave behind unnecessary things, and "i" which is inscribed in the center to symbolize the "self that is always at the center of oneself". This is a project by the composer and music producer, KOTARO SAITO , to voice out the thoughts deep down in his heart.

ラックストーンのボーカル、繊細で整然とした歌詞とメロディ、品性と荒々しさを共存させたサウンドが特徴。leiftの名は、利き手「left（左）」と必要なもの以外を手放す（leaveの過去形）意味を込め、中心の「i（自分）」は「自らの中心は常に自分」として据えられている。シングル『leaves』は、TVアニメ『ユーレイデコ』のイメージソングに起用される。2023年4月にファーストアルバム『Beige』をリリース。表参道WALL&WALLでのワンマンライブを盛況に収め、8月にmiidaをフィーチャーしたシングル『Peel』がSpotify「ブルーにこんがらがって」のプレイリストカバーに選出される。 現在毎週金曜日21時30分より、銀座にあるマリオットグループのホテル「アロフト東京銀座」のウィークリーライブイベントをプロデュース中。

I spent my teen years in India and taught myself how to compose music and play the piano. With underlying tones of piano, stringed instruments, vintage synths and drum machines, I specialize in music that combines delicacy and elegance with boldness. Along with my work as an artist, I have also done music for many commercials, mainly in fashion, beauty, and jewelry, and my style is characterized by the way I bring out the power of instruments and sounds in their reverberations. Along with my latest work "STELLAR," I have released 4 albums in total. In addition, I also make use of my background in advertising through activities such as live productions at the Marriott hotel "Aloft Tokyo Ginza," and making contributions to music-related media as a writer. I have a passion for cooking, interior decor, and plants, and I share snippets of my lifestyle on Instagram and note, through pictures, music, and words.
思春期をインドで過ごし、独学で作曲とピアノを取得。ピアノと弦楽器、ヴィンテージのシンセサイザーやリズムマシンを基調に、繊細さや優雅さ・骨太さを共存させた音楽を得意とする。これまでアルバム4枚をリリース。アーティスト活動と並行してファッション・ビューティー・ジュエリーを中心としたCM音楽も数多く手がけ、楽器や音の余韻といった素材の力を引き出す作風が特徴。またマリオット系列のホテル「アロフト東京銀座」のライブプロデュース、文筆家として音楽メディアなどへの寄稿も行うなど、広告代理店出身のキャリアを生かした発信活動も行う。料理やインテリア、植物をこよなく愛し、Instagramでは自身のライフスタイルを映像と音楽で、noteでは言葉で切り取り発信している。
